Yesterday morning, the Wasco County Commissioners passed a resolution banning Fireworks within the county effective immediately.

The Wasco County Commissioners voted to institute a county wide debris burn ban that will take effect on June 10, 20024 at 12:01 am. Please see attached Press Release for mor information. Until ODF institutes its Regulated Use Closures, activities such as campfires are still allowed.

The Mosier Fire District is looking to on board a Part time Engine Boss for the 2024 Wildland Season. Must be NWCG certified Firefighter Type 1and Crew or Engine Boss. More information can be found in the attachment.

The Mosier Fire District is looking to bring on board certified NWCG certified Firefighters for the 2024 Wildland Season. No experience is needed as a Type 2 Firefighter. The district will provide the hands on training portion of the certification. The applicant must complete the online training. If interested, please read the additional requirements and information.
