Are you looking to help support YOUR Fire District but you don’t want to fight fire or perform medical procedures? We have an excellent opportunity for you. The district is currently seeking for people who would like to volunteer as an auxiliary member. This is a grassroots project that will hopefully evolve into a bigger support role for the District and the City.
Some of the areas that we are looking for would involve providing food and water during large incidents (furnished by the District so no money comes out of an individuals’ pocket), assistance with administrative tasks for the District Board, supporting the families of the firefighters and medical personnel during long periods away from their homes, as well as many other projects and programs the district will be starting in the future.
