Termination of Regulated Use Closure (aka – Public Use Restrictions) on non-federal lands within the Central Oregon District boundary. This will also occur at 12:01 am on Friday September 22, 2023. Please note with the termination of Regulated Use, campfires will be allowed (within Central Oregon District’s boundary, on non-federal land).
Note that the burn ban is still in effect in Hood River and Wasco counties. There will be ongoing discussions with partners regarding the timing of lifting the burn ban based on appropriate weather conditions.
