Also, Mosier Fire leads brief monthly work parties, from 9:30 AM to noon on the following dates:
— February 12, 2011: East end of Pocket Park. Meet at the Senior Center, 500 East Second Ave.
— March 12, 2011: East end of Pocket Park. Meet at Senior Center, 500 East Second Ave.
— April 9, 2011: Chamberlain Park (across Hwy 30 from Mosier School). Park next to overpass.
— May 7, 2011: Rock Creek Rd, from Hwy 30 to sewage plant. Park at Rock Creek Access entry.
— June 11, 2011: Rock Creek Rd and ODOT Haul Rd. Park at Chamberlain Park or Rock Creek Access entry.
Please join us! This is incredibly important fire prevention work, and it helps create a more park-like setting for some of the most visible high-traffic areas of our community.
We can provide safety equipment, hand and power tools, and instruction for just about all ages and experience levels. Come out and lend a hand with your neighbors!
