A few minutes after 7:00 PM on Thanksgiving day, Mosier fire fighters were called to a report of flames, possibly coming from a building.
Within a short time the first of nine of us, plus a water tender from Mid-Columbia (The Dalles), were arriving to a fully involved shop building near our upper Station Two on State Road.
There was nothing to save by the time we were even called. We protected other structures and cooled the main fire to prevent further collapse of the building.
Damage estimates are expected to run well into six figures.
Please check the Mosier Valley News and other media for further news and information about how to help the owners rebuild.
