Burn Ban is in effect until further notice

All outdoor burning is prohibited through the summer in the Mosier Fire District, until Oregon Department of Forestry lifts the burn ban in the fall.  The end of the burn ban is not on a fixed date, but depends on the arrival of rains and other conditions.  Follow this website for updates.  You may also contact us with a request for the Fire Chief to notify you by email when restrictions are lifted.

The burn ban also prohibits certain activities such as smoking, fireworks, use of exploding targets and tracer rounds, and use of power tools during certain hours and provided the operator is equipped with certain fire-fighting capabilities.

You can view the text of the burn ban here: ODF Regulated Use Closure.
